Under the initiative of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, continuous efforts are being made for road construction to ensure smooth transportation in Jashpur district.
A total of Rs 194.84 crore has been approved for the development of three major roads in the area.
It is worth mentioning that the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has sanctioned Rs 892.36 crore for the development of eight roads in Chhattisgarh.
This funding will support the development and upgrading of approximately 324 kilometers of roads across six districts in the state.
This includes strengthening 13.50 km of the Baghbahar Drikotba road section for Rs 40.02 crore, 41 km of the Ludeg Dritapakra Drilwakera road section for Rs 118.95 crore, and 28 km of the Jashpur Asta Drikusmi road section for Rs 35.87 crore.
The construction and strengthening of these roads will not only facilitate traffic but will also accelerate the region’s development.
