The 100-bed Central Research Institute of Yoga and Naturopathy will be ready in 24 months
CIMS, with a capacity of 240 beds, has been built at a cost of Rs 200 crore.

In a commitment towards prioritizing better healthcare services and facilities within the state, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has strong focus on strengthening the healthcare system.
In this league, a super specialty hospital Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS) built at a cost of Rs 200 crore will be inaugurated in Bilaspur on Tuesday.
The newly developed hospital CIMS will be virtually inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During which the Chief Minister Sai will also be present in this program.
As per health officials, this hospital will start in three phases. In its first phase the facilities of OPD, ward and ICCU, dialysis unit will be started followed by starting of lab, cath lab in second phase and operation theatre, cardiac and lumbar machines will be started in the third phase and the hospital will start fully functional in the fourth phase.
The launch of this hospital will also prove beneficial for the patients of nearby districts including of Surguja division. They may not depend on hospitals in Raipur and would avail better treatment facilities nearby.
In compliance of state government’s vision of holistic progress, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal is constantly making efforts at the central level to introduce national level institutions in the field of healthcare.
In this regard, a 100-bed Central Research Institute of Yoga and Naturopathy (CRIYN) will be launched in Raipur and Tuesday Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually lay its foundation stone.
Sharing information over CRIYN, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal said that the construction of this institute will be completed in 24 months at a cost of Rs 90 crore.
State government has provided 10 acres of land to the AYUSH department for this institute. This will be Chhattisgarh’s first yoga and naturopathy research center and hospital which will provide treatment facilities for non-communicable diseases.
The center will also conduct training certification courses in wellness therapy and fellowship courses in research.
