Chief Minister Extends Congratulations to the Forest Department and the Participants for the Event

Grand Closing Ceremony to Feature Olympic Medalist Ms. Manu Bhaker

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has been invited to attend the 27th All India Forest Sports Competition, scheduled to be held in the state capital, Raipur, from 16th to 20th October.

A delegation of the Forest Department officials, led by Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, extended the invitation to Chief Minister Sai in a meeting at his residence office today.

Conveying his best wishes for the success of the prestigious event, the Chief Minister said that hosting such a competition is a matter of pride for Chhattisgarh. On the occasion, the officials also presented a sports kit to him.

On the occasion, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Head of Forest Force V. Srinivas Rao, Additional PCCF Sunil Mishra, Additional PCCF Arun Pandey, Additional PCCF Ms. Sanjita Gupta, Chief Conservator of Forests Ms. Shalini Raina, and CCF Raju Agasaimani were also present.

The Nodal Officer of the competition, Ms. Shalini Raina (Chief Conservator of Forests, Human Resources & IT), stated that the event is a significant and renowned gathering dedicated to the protection of forests and wildlife conservation, with numerous participants from across the country.

She further mentioned that the 27th All India Forest Sports Competition in Raipur will witness participation from over 3,000 individuals nationwide.

The officials and staff of the Forest Department are making continuous efforts to ensure the successful organization of this five-day event.

It is noteworthy that the opening ceremony of the competition will take place at the Kota Stadium in Raipur from 16th to 20th October.

The event will be graced by the presence of Indian T-20 cricket team captain Suryakumar Yadav, popularly known as “SKY” among young fans. Additionally, the closing ceremony will feature Olympic medalist Ms. Manu Bhaker.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has also released a video message congratulating the officers and staff of the forest services across the country who will participate in the competition and extending his best wishes to the organizing Forest Department and the Government of Chhattisgarh.
