Governor’s Secretary chairs meeting to discuss necessary arrangements

Ahead of President Smt. Droupadi Murmu’s two-day visit to Chhattisgarh on October 25 and 26, Governor’s Secretary Yashwant Kumar chaired a meeting today at Raj Bhavan to review the required arrangements, following instructions from Governor Ramen Deka.

He stressed that all preparations must adhere to the prescribed protocol for the President’s visit.

President Smt. Murmu will be the chief guest at the convocations of AIIMS Raipur, NIT Raipur, IIT Bhilai, and Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences and Ayush University of Chhattisgarh.

Secretary Yashwant Kumar instructed officials to ensure that all necessary arrangements are in place at each educational institution. Officials from the Raipur and Durg District Administrations, along with those from the Public Works Department, Municipal Corporation, Public Health Engineering, Health Department, Police, and State Protocol, were also directed to complete all preparations in a timely manner.

The meeting was attended by Governor’s Joint Secretary Smt. Hina Animesh Netam, Dean of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Dr. Vivek Choudhary, and officials from all relevant departments.
