Stresses on the need for increasing people’s participation in the ‘Narva Yojana’.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday chaired a review meeting of district level officials at the Circuit House of Balod District Headquarters.
He gave necessary instructions to the officials concerned while reviewing the status of implementation of government schemes.
CM Baghel stressed on the need to increase people’s participation in the ‘Narva Yojana’ and connect each Nala (drain) with the scheme.
Expressing his concerns over decline in water level especially in Gurur area, he asked the officials concerned to ensure that all drains here are connected with the Narva Yojana.
Besides, instructions have been given to ensure that hot meals are served under ‘Mukhyamantri Suposhan Yojana’.
The Chief Minister said that necessary steps should be undertaken to curb sale of illicit liquor and stern action should be taken against those indulged in illegal practices.
He has asked the officials and authorities concerned that quality of construction works including that of Gauthan and CC road should not be compromised at any cost.
He said that issues related to demarcation and distribution of land and complaints regarding unannounced power cuts should be resolved quickly.
He said that the grievances of the public should be redressed in the stipulated time. Meanwhile, CM Baghel also congratulated the officials for their good job.
