Delegation expresses gratitude to the Chief Minister for increasing the salary of contractual employees by 27 percent
A delegation of the ‘Chhattisgarh Sarva Vibhagiya Samvida Karmachari Mahasangh’ (Chhattisgarh All Department Contractual Employees Association) met Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at his residence office and expressed gratitude for the 27 percent hike in the salary of contractual employees.
They also informed the Chief Minister about the withdrawal of the indefinite strike by the association.
The delegation met Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and conveyed their appreciation for the unprecedented 27 percent salary increase for contractual employees. This decision will benefit contractual employees across all departments and schemes in Chhattisgarh.
The Chief Minister emphasised that the state government is committed to employee welfare, as evident from various announcements, including DA and house rent increments.
The supplementary budget also approved a significant 27 percent salary hike for contractual employees. The delegation also submitted a memorandum outlining their other demands to the Chief Minister Baghel.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Baghel assured contractual employees that he would take all necessary actions based on their demands. State President Kaushalesh Tiwari and other members of the delegation, including Sudesh Yadav, Hemant Sinha, Ashok Kurre, Sanjay Soni, Vijay Yadav, and others, were present.
