About 1812 camps have been set up in the state by the Mukhyamantri Dai Didi mobile clinics. 1,35,722 women and girls living in the slum communities of Raipur, Bilaspur, and Bhilai municipality areas have been treated in Dai Didi clinic camps near their homes.
The Mukhyamantri Dai Didi Clinic Yojana is run by the state government’s Urban Administration and Development Department.
Under the scheme, a team of female doctors and staff carried by the mobile medical unit vehicles of Dai Didi Clinic reaches the women and girls in need of medical help.
Thereafter, free treatment of various diseases is provided without cost. Lab tests on 24,867 women were conducted by these mobile medical units, and 1,29,823 women were given free medicines.
Women living in poor slum areas and laborer women who were unable to receive proper medical care due to a lack of time or other factors are now receiving good treatment from female doctors and staff near their homes through this scheme.
