Appeals to people to hoist the national flag in their homes
Raipur. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel on Friday released the film based on ‘Humar Tiranga Abhiyan’—
launched by Chhattisgarh Government to mark the occasion of 75th anniversary of India’s Independence—at his residence office here. The Public Relations Department has made two separate films based on this campaign in Hindi and Chhattisgarhi language.
“As a part of celebrations of the Independence Week from August 11 to August 17, ‘Humar Tiranga Abhiyan’ has been started in Chhattisgarh.
Under this campaign, the tricolor is being hoisted in every village, town, city, house, government offices, and institutions of the state.
Through this campaign, we the people of Chhattisgarh are expressing our gratitude to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives fighting for our motherland, making India independent. We are proud to be an Indian”, Chief Minister said.
Besides, the Chief Minister appealed to the people of the state to hoist or display the national flag in government and private institutions, shops, buildings and houses during this campaign.
Chief Minister’s Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Subrat Sahoo and Public Relations Department Director Mr. Saumil Ranjan Chaubey were present on the occassion.
