Chief Minister Attends Antyodaya Seva Vandan Parv and Veergatha Samman Samaroh; ‘Namo Seva Gatha’ Staged

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai attended the Antyodaya Seva Vandan Parv, ‘Ankahi Kahaniyan’ cultural presentation and Veergatha Samman Samaroh organised under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan at Sardar Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium in Raipur on Friday. The programme brought inspiring stories of service, dedication, courage and social responsibility to life through various performances. ‘Namo Seva Gatha’, centred on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s public life and spirit of service, was also staged on the occasion.
Chief Minister Shri Sai honoured citizens who have done remarkable work in various fields, along with service-oriented individuals associated with the police, Army, paramilitary forces, civil services and the social sector, by presenting them with certificates of appreciation. He said honouring those who contribute with dedication to the service of society and the nation also inspires the younger generation to move forward on the path of service and duty.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said the spirit of Antyodaya is the fundamental basis of our development journey. Ensuring that the benefits of government schemes and facilities reach the last person in society and bringing positive change to their lives is our priority. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the country is moving forward with resolve for service, good governance, and the welfare of low-income people. In Chhattisgarh too, public welfare and development initiatives are being accelerated in accordance with the same spirit.
He said the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan is connecting every section of society with service activities. Growing public participation in activities such as cleanliness, health, blood donation, environmental conservation and assistance to those in need is giving the campaign the form of a mass movement.
Stage Comes Alive with Colours of Folk Art and Patriotism
The Antyodaya Seva Vandan Parv brought together Chhattisgarh’s rich folk culture and patriotism. Artists captivated the audience through folk songs, Jasgeet, bhajans, Raut Nacha and traditional group dances, along with flute performances and theatrical presentations.
Women associated with the National Rural Livelihood Mission presented folk songs and group dances, offering a vibrant glimpse of Chhattisgarh’s folk traditions. Children from a school for persons with special abilities presented a patriotic group song and captivated everyone with their talent and confidence.
Participants from the Labour Department, the Women and Child Development Department, and various groups also gave cultural performances. A special cultural presentation based on the message of cleanliness conveyed the importance of building a clean and healthy society. The presence of international hockey player Shama Anjum was also special. A social message was conveyed through the ‘Hamar Sangi-Sathi’ street play. Drone Didi Smt Anjana Das, along with her son, gave an emotional performance to the song ‘Meri Yashoda Maiya’.
Artists from Raipur city as well as Arang, Abhanpur, Dharsiwa and Kharora areas also participated in the programme. Performances by artists from diverse regions transformed the Antyodaya Seva Vandan Parv into a broad platform showcasing Chhattisgarh’s folk art, talent and social participation.
Chief Minister Launches Three Innovations
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai launched three innovations of the Raipur District Administration—‘Project Rahat’, ‘Project Dhwast’ and Advance AI – ‘Takat Hai MY’—on the occasion.
Through ‘Project Rahat’, the administration has launched an initiative to make the process of providing relief funds under RBC 6(4) to people affected by natural disasters faster and more effective, so assistance reaches affected families on time in the event of a disaster.
Under ‘Project Dhwast’, the government has launched an initiative to identify dilapidated and unsafe buildings in the district and ensure necessary action. Its objective is to ensure citizens’ safety by reducing the risk of accidents.
Similarly, through Advance AI – ‘Takat Hai MY’, the government has undertaken an initiative to make administrative functioning more effective and citizen-oriented through modern technology and Artificial Intelligence.
Appreciating these innovations, Chief Minister Shri Sai said technology and innovation fulfil their true purpose only when they enable ordinary citizens to access services quickly and easily. Good governance does not merely mean formulating schemes, but also ensuring that they effectively reach the last person.
Extending his best wishes to all citizens, personnel, social workers, and participants honoured at the programme, the Chief Minister said their stories of service, courage, and dedication inspire society. He expressed confidence that the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan would further expand the spirit of public service and social participation across the state.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma, Rajya Sabha MP Smt Laxmi Verma, MLA Shri Anuj Sharma, Chhattisgarh Film Development Corporation Chairperson Ms Mona Sen, along with several public representatives, officials, social workers, artists and a large number of citizens, were present on the occasion.
