President Smt. Droupadi Murmu expressed deep admiration for the lifestyle, food habits, folk dances, music, instruments, arts, customs, festivals, beliefs, and other traditional practices of the tribal communities in Chhattisgarh.

A group photograph was taken with the tribals dressed in their traditional attire.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Governor Ramen Deka, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development Tokhan Sahu, Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, Labour Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan, Food Minister Dayaldas Baghel, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade, Revenue Minister Tankram Verma, Raipur MP Brijmohan Agrawal, and MLAs Khuswant Saheb and Rohit Sahu.

During the programme at Chhattisgarh’s renowned “Purkhauti Muktangan”, President Smt. Murmu was delighted to engage with the tribal communities.

She posed for photographs with dance troupes from Surguja, Bastar, and Dantewada, celebrating and enhancing the pride of Chhattisgarh’s tribal society.

Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Director General of Police Ashok Juneja, Principal Secretary of the Tribal Welfare Department Sonamni Bora, Principal Secretary of Culture Anbalgan P., Chief Minister’s Secretary P. Dayanand, Commissioner of Tribal Development Narendra Dugga, and Director of Archaeology and Culture Vivek Acharya were also present on the occassion.
