Rs 2.21 Crore Sanctioned for 34 Development Projects in Balodabazar Municipality
Under the good governance of Vishnu Deo Sai, each and every sector of the state is undergoing significant development. Owing to the efforts of Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma, an amount of Rs 2 crore 21 lakh 23 thousand has been approved by the Urban Administration and Development Department for 34 different infrastructure projects in the Balodabazar Municipality.
The Minister affirmed the government’s commitment to fulfilling the basic needs of the public while prioritizing development projects that enhance facilities.
For the financial year 2024-25, various infrastructure projects in Balodabazar Municipality have been allocated funds, which includes allocation of Rs 4 lakh 61 thousand for construction of CC road from Patkar Thela to Jyoti Chawla’s house in Ward No. 1, Rs 2 lakh 68 thousand for the slab construction on the main drain of Sonpuri Road, and Rs 7 lakh 13 thousand for building a CC road from Hetram Manhare’s residence to Patel Electricals. Similarly, Rs 7 lakh has been sanctioned for the construction of a boundary wall at Durga Temple in front of the Collectorate Bungalow in Ward No. 2, Rs 1 lakh 47 thousand for the RCC drain cover in Police Colony, and Rs 1 lakh 57 thousand for drain cover work from the District Hospital to Cane Road. Additionally, Rs 1 lakh 75 thousand has been allocated for constructing an RCC drain cover from the main road, passing through Namrata Choubey’s house to Satyam Yadav’s residence.
In Ward No. 3, Rs 3 lakh 91 thousand will be utilized for constructing a CC road from Santoshi Temple to Lal Dairy’s house, while in Ward No. 4, Rs 2 lakh 22 thousand has been approved for the construction of a CC road from S.P. Dhruv’s house to P.C. Banjare’s residence. The construction of a CC road and RCC drain from Hetram Achale’s house to Dilip Kumar Khute’s residence will receive Rs 3 lakh 63 thousand. In Ward No. 5, Rs 12 lakh 10 thousand is allocated for the construction of a CC road and RCC drain from Arogya Blood Bank through Narottam Soni’s house to Rajesh Kumar Azad’s residence and onward to Naresh Mishra’s house. Additionally, Rs 3 lakh 68 thousand will be used for flooring work in Guru Ghasidas Community Building in Ward No. 6, while Rs 4 lakh 69 thousand will be allocated for constructing an RCC drain from Suvidha Paan Shop to Kishore Bajpai’s house, and Rs 11 lakh 54 thousand for a CC road across Solha Talab in Ward No. 6. Further, Rs 8 lakh 02 thousand is approved for a CC road from Prabhu Patel’s house to behind the Mawli Temple in Ward No. 8, and Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand for a CC road from Ramakant Pandey’s residence to Shatrughan Patel’s house. In Ward No. 9, Rs 12 lakh 40 thousand is sanctioned for BT road construction from the Mawli Temple gate to Thakur Dev Chowk.
In Ward No. 10, Rs 12 lakh 28 thousand will be utilized for constructing a CC road from Dilkhush Dhaba on Raipur Road to Jagdamba Glass. In Ward No. 11, Rs 8 lakh 43 thousand has been approved for an RCC drain from Pyare Patel’s residence to Dhyan Gupt’s house, while Rs 2 lakh 16 thousand is sanctioned for a similar drain from Rajkumar Banjare’s residence to Ramratan Kurre’s house. For Ward No. 12, Rs 3 lakh 16 thousand will be used for constructing a CC road from Arvind Udyan to Chhotu Tandon’s house, and Rs 3 lakh 84 thousand for an RCC drain along the same stretch. Beautification works at Gandhi Chowk in Wards No. 13 and 14 will receive Rs 9 lakh 90 thousand, while Rs 5 lakh 23 thousand is allocated for BT renewal work from Nishant Shukla’s residence to Chetan Mill Main Road in Ward No. 14, and Rs 1 lakh 81 thousand for a CC road from Nishant Shukla’s house to Shekhar Shukla’s large shop. Additional works in Ward No. 14 include Rs 6 lakh 19 thousand for a CC road from Mahmud Ali’s house through Santu Dhobi’s and Munna Gupta’s residences to Ram Temple, and from the main road through Anadi Mishra’s house to Mehram’s shop.
In Ward No. 16, Rs 4 lakh 13 thousand has been approved for a CC road from Azad Chowk to Gaurishankar Dongre’s house, and Rs 2 lakh 76 thousand for a road from Khedu Yadav’s residence to Sumeet Yadav’s house. In Ward No. 17, Rs 4 lakh 20 thousand will be used for RCC drain construction from Laxmi Nagar Shukla’s residence to Babban Verma’s house. For Ward No. 18, Rs 5 lakh 02 thousand is allocated for a CC road from Rani Sagar Pond to behind the Municipal Building, with an additional Rs 3 lakh 18 thousand for an RCC drain from the side of the Municipal Building through the government society to Kanhaiya Sen’s house.
Development works approved in Ward No. 19 include Rs 9 lakh 21 thousand for a pathway and RCC drain in Mahamaya Nagar, and Rs 43 lakh 07 thousand for BT top renewal from Garden Chowk through Shashti Temple to Ravi Kannauje’s residence in Wards No. 19 and 20. Additionally, Rs 6 lakh 46 thousand is sanctioned for an RCC drain from Ramesh Vishnoi’s residence to High School Main Road in Ward No. 21.
