Olympic medalist Ms. Manu Bhaker will attend the closing ceremony on October 20
Final preparations underway for All India Forest Sports Competition in Raipur. The event is set to take place from October 16 to 20, will feature Indian T20 cricket team captain Surya Kumar Yadav, renowned as “SKY,” who is expected to attend the inauguration.
The program will be inaugurated at the stadium in Kota, the capital. In the video released on social media, cricketer Yadav said that he is excited to attend this program and has sent his best wishes in advance to the organizing committee for the event.
Olympic medalist Ms. Manu Bhaker will also attend the closing ceremony of this mega event. The presence of two star players in this event is creating tremendous enthusiasm among the participants of the forest department coming from different states.
Extending his best wishes to employees of Forest Department in an online video, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that it is a matter of great enthusiasm that forest service officers and employees from all over the country participating in the competition to be organized in Chhattisgarh.
He also expressed happiness over the arrival of cricketer Shri Surya Kumar Yadav and Olympic medalist Ms Manu Bhaker in Chhattisgarh and said that the arrival of both the talented players will add to the beauty of the program and it will be a good opportunity for the youth and players.
Chief Forest Conservator Human Resources and Nodal Officer of this event, Ms Shalini Raina said that this is a huge and prestigious event dedicated to the protection of forests and conservation of wild animals, in which many participants from all over the country are going to participate. Arrangements have been made for the stay of all the players and participation in the sports event. Many events will be organized in various sports grounds of the capital. We are confident that the participants coming from other states will like this entire event and the hospitality of Chhattisgarh state.
As per the information more than 3000 participants from all over the country will participate in this 27th All India Forest Sports Competition. The officers and employees of the Forest Department are continuously working hard for the successful organisation of this five-day competition, said forest officials.
