Chhattisgarh’s Health Department awarded in New Delhi…

Chhattisgarh becomes the state with the maximum number of registered government hospitals in the country under Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.

Due to the constant efforts to ensure healthcare facilities for the citizens of the state, Chhattisgarh has become the state with highest number of registered government hospitals in the country in the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.

 Chhattisgarh is also at the forefront in the treatment of women under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana.

It is worth mentioning that 58 percent of the total beneficiaries treated under the scheme are women. Chhattisgarh is also the first state in the country to provide benefits of this scheme to such a large number of women. U

nion Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya rewarded the state for these achievements in the program named ‘Arogya Manthan’ organized in New Delhi today.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Health Minister T.S. Singhdeo congratulated the entire team of the Health Department on this achievement and urged them to continue expanding healthcare facilities in the state.

On the completion of four years of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and one year of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, a two-day ‘Arogya Manthan’ program was organized in New Delhi on 25th September and 26th September, In which the states that have done excellent work under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana were awarded.

On behalf of Chhattisgarh, Secretary of Health and Family Welfare Department Prasanna R., Chief Executive Officer-cum-Operator Health Services Bhim Singh of State Nodal Agency, and Dr. Shrikant Rajimwale, Deputy Director, State Nodal Agency received the award.

 With the constant efforts of the health department and state government, the state has been awarded with the ‘Ayushman Excellence Award’ by the National Health Authority for the maximum number of government hospitals registered under Ayushman Digital Mission. Chhattisgarh has registered more than nine thousand government hospitals under this scheme. 

What is Digital Mission

Electronic health cards are being made through Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.

Through this card, all the documents related to the patient’s medical history will be available online. Doctors of any hospital will be able to see these documents with the card.

Along with this, the patient himself will be able to see all the documents related to his treatment on his mobile.

Work is being done expeditiously in the direction of providing these cards, Also,this card will relieve the patients from documentation formalities and replace them with a digital record.
