Recalling the invaluable contribution of Dau Dular Singh ji in the development of Chhattisgarhi folk art, CM Baghel said that Dau ji played an important role in keeping the art of ‘Nacha’ alive in Chhattisgarh.
He organized folk artists and revived the folk dance ‘Nacha’ among the masses.
He made nacha-gammat a powerful medium of propaganda against social evils along with entertainment.
This initiative of his was very effective for social renaissance. He took ‘Nacha’ to a new dimension by connecting it with social causes.
Baghel said that Dau Mandraji’s love for his culture and devotion to the art truely inspiring. He was a true seeker of folk art.
