Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel offers prayers to ‘Narmada Maiya’ in Sursuli village of Balod district…

We are constantly  providing Public Service with the blessings of ‘Narmada Maiya’ and general public: Chief Minister Baghel.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel initiated the ‘deepdaan’ ceremony at Narmadadham Kund.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel,today reached the ‘Narmadadham kund’ situated in Sursuli village of Balod district, and offered prayers to ‘Narmada Maiya’ while wishing for the happiness, prosperity and a bright future for the people of the state. He also initiated the ‘Deepdan’ ceremony and offered prayers in the Shiv temple located here.   Residents of the village accorded him a warm welcome by presenting him a picture of  ‘Narmada Maiya’ as a symbol of luck.

In his brief address on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that he has got an oppurtunity to visit this sacred place for the second time. He further said that,with the blessings of ‘Narmada Maiya’ and the people, he shall continue to do public service for the state. Narmada Dham is a renowned holy land where numerous sages and saints meditate.

CM Baghel also took blessings from Swami Atmanand Saraswati who is practicing  Chaturmas here. He further said that as long as Swamiji stays in the state, he will be given the status of state guest.

The Chief Minister said that when sages and saints rigourously practice sadhana at a given place, that land becomes even more sacred,important and virtuous with divine energy. Addressing the gathering present in the occasion,The Chief Minister said that “all of you have got an opportunity to listen to Swamiji’s discourse, due to which the importance of this place has increased even more”. The Chief Minister said that when a saint performs Chaturmas, it’s a great chance  to seek blessings from him in this powerful sacred time.

For the development and beautification of Mata Narmada Dham,The Chief Minister approved the construction of a bridge, culvert and a road for better connectivity . It is worth mentioning that Village Sursuli is 5 km away from Jewartala, and CM Baghel especially visited Narmada Dham to get ‘darshan’ of Narmada Maiya amidst the sacred ceremony of Deepdan.
