The Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel expressed deep sorrow over the death of Mrs. Shanti Mandavi during her treatment in a private hospital in Raipur today.
Mrs. Shanti Mandavi had been injured during a Kabaddi competition in Makdi’s Majhiborand.
While expressing his sympathies with the bereaved family members, the Chief Minister approved financial assistance of Rs. 4 lakh to them.
The Chief Minister has given instructions to officers for providing the aid amount to the family members of Mrs. Shanti Mandavi.
It is noteworthy that Mrs. Shanti Mandavi, the resident of Majhiborand village under the Makdi development block, survived by her husband Umesh Mandavi, was injured during a Kabaddi competition on Friday.
She was rushed to the Makri Community Center but after the treatment, when she didn’t show signs of improvement, she was referred to a private hospital in Raipur.
Thereafter, she passed away during treatment.
The officers of the District Administration visited the native village of the deceased woman and offered consolation to the bereaved family members.
