Government is Committed to Reaching the Last Person Through ‘Antyodaya’: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid his respects to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, the proponent of Integral Humanism and an eminent nationalist thinker, on his birth anniversary today. At the Chief Minister’s Residence Office in Raipur, Shri Sai garlanded the portrait of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and paid tribute to his life and ideals.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that through his thoughts and principles, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya presented a vision of holistic national development with the last person in society at its centre. His entire life was dedicated to national service, public welfare and the upliftment of vulnerable and deprived sections of society.
Shri Sai said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya believed that development becomes meaningful only when its benefits reach the person standing at the last rung of society. His principle of ‘Antyodaya’ inspires efforts to bring the poor, deprived and needy into the mainstream of development and empower them to become self-reliant.
Chief Minister Shri Sai further said that observing Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s birth anniversary as ‘Antyodaya Diwas’ reflects the resolve to work for the welfare of the last person in society and bring positive change to their lives. His philosophy of Integral Humanism and Antyodaya continues to serve as an inspiration for nation-building and public welfare.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that, by embracing the principles of Antyodaya, the State Government is committed to ensuring that the benefits of development and welfare reach every section of society, particularly those at the last mile. The thoughts, ideals and spirit of national service embodied by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya will continue to inspire the nation and society.
