A branch of New District Cooperative Bank will open in Bilaigarh and Primary Health Center will be upgraded to Community Health Center.
Raipur 20 December 2022 / Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel reached the Gram Panchayat of Sarsinwa under Bilaigarh Vidhansabha of the newly formed Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district today under the statewide Bhent Mulaqat program.
In the program, Chief Minister Baghel took stock of the ground reality of public welfare schemes and programs being run by the government from the rural populace and also directed the officials to resolve issues of the villagers.
Moreover, for the convenience of the general public, the Chief Minister also announced to make Sarsinwa a new tehsil and to make Sarsinwa and Pavani Nagar Panchayats.
The Chief Minister also announced to upgrade the Primary Health Center in Sarsinwa to Community Health Center, he also announced to establish a branch of New District Cooperative Bank in Bilaigarh, He instructed to increase the bed capacity of Bilaigarh Community Health Center from 30 beds to 50 beds, he also announced the approval of the fund for the construction of the culvert to reach the township in Bilaigarh Nagar Panchayat and the market from the township.
On this occasion, Minister in-charge of School Education and District Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Higher Education Minister Umesh Patel, Parliamentary Secretary Chandradev Prasad Rai, the Vice President of the Scheduled caste Development Authority and Sarangarh MLA Uttari Jangde and Local people’s representatives and a large number of villagers were present during this occasion.
Feedback on the benefits of state government schemes taken from villagers
Komal Prasad Sahu, a farmer of Dhobni village told the Chief Minister in todays Bhent Mulaqat Program that his loan of Rs one lakh 10 thousand has been waived off and he has received three installments under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana on time.
He further informed that he cultivates brinjal using the organic method. Happy with his yield, He remarked that One year of brinjal cultivation gives the same profit as five years of paddy cultivation.
Last year, there has been a profit of Rs 5 lakh from brinjal cultivation. Moreover, Organic farming has increased the fertility of his farmland. Pramila Yadav, a woman associated with the self-help group told that she is getting good income by joining the self-help group which engages in income-generating activities like vermi compost manufacturing, fish farming, poultry farming, duck farming and Kadaknath farming.
So far she has earned more than 45 thousand rupees. On the demand of Sudarshan Das, a resident of Kaitha, the Collector was instructed to provide him employment under MNREGA and Gauthan, and to give him funds under the Rajiv Gandhi grameen bhumiheen Krishi Mazdoor nyay yojna .
it was also instructed to provide him assistance to treat his illness. The Chief Minister also gave approval to to give an assistance of Rs. 2 lakh to Naresh Kumar for opening a salon.
Chief Minister narrated his experience of Bhent Mulaqat
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel while sharing his experiences of Bhent Mulaqat said that a 40-year-old woman had brought a ‘gedi’ during the program.
He further said that with the Chhattisgarh Olympics, now women are also able to play the games they used to play in their childhood. He distributed assistive devices to the Divyangjans in the programme.
In these, tricycles were distributed to 8 Divyangjans of Bilaigarh and Bhatgaon and Baisakhi to 2 Divyangjans and caste certificates were also distributed to school children.
Chief Minister had lunch at a Ramnami family’s place
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel tasted Chhattisgarhi traditional food with the people of Ramnami community at Netraj Kurre’s house in Sarsiwan village.
Here, he was served rice, kheer, roti, lal bhaji, tivra bhaji, karela bhaji, brinjal, peas, potatoes, sami, dal, and tomato chutney prepared by using sil batta.
The Chief Minister thanked the family members of Kurre for the delicious food.
