Nearly 260-kms of roads will be constructed in Raigarh at the cost of Rs 467 crore.
Chief Minister said that the work of repairing dilapidated roads in Raigarh district will be started soon after the rainy season is over.
In his address to the people of village Chhal in Dharamjaigarh assembly constituency, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel assured that the roads of Raigarh districts will be repaired and reconstructed soon.
PWD Secretary Siddhartha Komal Pardeshi has inspected all the dilapidated roads in the district, and Chief Minister Baghel is personally monitoring the process.
It is noteworthy that the increased traffic of heavy vehicles has damaged the roads in Raigarh district, which will be reconstructed post rainy season.
Secretary, Public Works Department, Siddharth Komal Pardeshi informed that 70-km-long road from Raigarh to Dharamjaigarh will be built at a cost of Rs 130 crores, 90-km-long road from Kharsia-Chhal-Hati-Dharamjaigarh-Pathalgaon will be built at a cost of Rs 190 crores, 23-kms long road will be constructed from Chhal to Gharghoda at a cost of Rs 48 crores, 26-km long road en route Punjipathra-Tamanar-Milupara will be built at a cost of Rs 62 crore, Sarangarh-Barmakela-Sohela road (8-km) will be built at a cost of Rs.8.5 crore, Barmakela-Saria-Nadigaon road (18 km) will be constructed at a cost of Rs.7.5 crore, 15-km long road from Gharghoda to Lailunga will be built at a cost of Rs 7 crores and 3 kms long road from Surajgarh to Padigaon will be constructed at a cost of Rs 6 crores.
