Now paint made from cow dung will be used to paint school buildings in Chhattisgarh.

Rural Industrial Park (RIPA) is being developed in the Gauthans where women of SHGs are making paint from cow dung.

The Chief Minister has instructed to use these paints in all school buildings to provide employment opportunities to rural women and increase their income.

It is worth mentioning that Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel reached the New Circuit House today to chair the Collector and SP conference and visited the exhibition stalls set up by SHGs of Gauthan and Rural Industrial Park.

There he took information about different varieties of products like paint made from cow dung, cookies, pickles, and household items and artwork made from bamboo.

He appreciated the efforts of SHGs in making such products. He instructed the Additional Chief Secretary to issue instructions to use the cow dung paint made by Gauthan or Rural Industrial Park (RIPA) in all the government schools for painting purposes in the state.
