Chhattisgarh records 1066.8 mm average rainfall so far…

An average rainfall of 1066.8 mm has been recorded in Chhattisgarh since June 1.

The highest rainfall of 2067.1 mm was recorded in the Bijapur district while the Surguja district recorded the lowest average rainfall of 493.3 mm.

This is based on the district-wise rainfall statistics from June 01 to September 10.

According to the information received from the state-level control room for flood disaster management, Surajpur has received 804.2 mm of rainfall since June 1.

Similarly, Balrampur received 781.7 mm rainfall, Jashpur 801.7 mm, Koriya 728.3 mm, Raipur 792.3 mm, Balodabazar 1017.0 mm, Gariyaband 1102.3 mm, Mahasamund 1043.2 mm, Dhamtari 1170.4 mm, Bilaspur 1223.4 mm, Mungeli 1132.0 mm, Raigarh 984.2 mm, Janjgir-Champa 1172.5 mm, Korba 957.4 mm, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi 912.5 mm, Durg 893.9 mm, Kabirdham 965.6 mm, Rajnandgaon 1032.1 mm, Balod 1144.8 mm, Bemetara 633.1 mm, Bastar 1522.8 mm, Kondagaon 1142.0 mm, Kanker 1365.5 mm, Narayanpur 1207.9 mm, Dantewada 1552.6 mm and Sukma recorded an average rainfall of 1226.1 mm.
