Nalanda Library Supports Youth Preparing for Competitive Examinations
Union Minister Nadda appreciated efforts of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Finance Minister OP Choudhary
During his visit to Raipur Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda arrived at Nalanda Campus on Thursday evening, accompanied by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Finance Minister hri OP Choudhary.
He engaged with youth preparing for various competitive examinations at the library.
Union Minister Nadda praised the state-of-the-art study facilities, seating arrangements and positive atmosphere in Nalanda Library, highlighting its support for UPSC, CGPSC and other recruitment exam preparations.
He also commended Chief Minister Sai and Finance Minister Choudhary for establishing Nalanda Campus in Raipur.
While observing the RFID book issuing process, Union Minister Nadda interacted with the youth, inquiring about their exam preparations.
Students, who successfully secured positions after studying at Nalanda Library shared their experiences, noting that the library operates 24 hours a day, providing a conducive study environment and internet access.
Wishing the youth a bright future, Union MinisterUnion Minister Nadda remarked that Nalanda Library would be instrumental in shaping their careers.
He applauded Chief Minister Sai’s efforts to promote IT and create new employment opportunities for the youth in Chhattisgarh.
He described the establishment of fully equipped libraries modeled after Nalanda Campus in 22 cities across the state as a commendable initiative that will assist students in their competitive exam preparations.
Finance Minister OP Choudhary provided details about Nalanda Library, stating that it can accommodate up to 1,000 students for group study.
The library features a 200 Mbps internet connection and books are provided based on student demand, with arrangements for RFID book issuance.
Present at the event were MLA Kiran Deo, Collector Dr Gaurav Singh, SSP Santosh Singh, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra, District Panchayat CEO Vishwadeep, and other officials.
